Welcome

Basis of Faith and Aims and Objectives

Churches Together in Ewell unites in pilgrimage the churches in our area which acknowledge God’s revelation of himself in Christ, confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour according to the Scriptures, and in obedience to God’s will, empowered by his Holy Spirit, commit themselves together to:

  • Explore Christian faith and belief together
  • Maintain strong relationships between the churches
  • Promote deeper understanding of one another’s churches
  • Fulfil Christ’s Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel through common and shared witness and service
  • To worship and pray together for one another and the local community we are called to serve

Our full Practices and Guidelines document is available for download.

HOPE 2022 – Cancelled

It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of our annual Hope Event at Bourne Hall – this is due to organisational issues and potential clashes with Royal Jubilee celebrations.

See photos from our previous HOPE events.

World Day of Prayer – 2022

Unfortunately, there will be no World Day of Prayer service in Ewell this year but you’re welcome to attend the Epsom service on Friday 4th March. Details can be found at the Churches Together in Epsom website.

Pray Together

Pray Together is a section on the website to help bring people together across the churches to pray. Please use the contacts page to let us know of prayer events being hosted by your church.

Together at Christmas – 2021

Due to the ongoing Covid situation we decided (once again) to not hold our usual Christmas lunch this year. It’s likely that many of our guests would be classed as vulnerable and so – vaccinated or not – we couldn’t ensure a safe environment for them or our helpers. As such we decided to provide our guests with Gooodie Boxes, as we did last year.

We phoned all our guests to see how they were and whether they would like a Goodie Box. 36 Goodie Boxes were prepared containing a lovely assortment of Christmas foods, savoury snacks, fruit, a ‘cracker’ gift bag, small gift, a calendar and pen and a Christmas card. The boxes were delivered close to Christmas and were very gratefully received.

We would like to say a big “Thank you” to all those that helped to deliver the Goodie Boxes.
